Trekking through the hills of Northern Thailand

Retired Thai Army Major Joe “Kap” and his crew welcomed us into their home and provided us with a full-service dinner, music, dancing, and a traditional ceremony, which included dancing girls, wearing of the “Funky Tours” necklace and even a money-eating white dragon. From here we prepared our packs for the upcoming four day trek through the hilltribes. Just remember to pack that Tang!
